regarding the accreditation of the medical units that may perform activities of declaring donors, of testing, harvesting, coordination and transplantation

Taking into account the stipulations of Law no. 588/2004 regarding the approval of Government Ordinance no. 79/2004 for the founding of the National Transplant Agency and of Law no. 100/1998 regarding public health assistance, with the ulterior changes,

Taking into account the positive report of the National Transplant Agency no. M.C. 6296 from 19 May 2005,

In accordance with the stipulations of Government Ordinance no. 168/2005 regarding the organization and functioning of the Ministry of Health, with the ulterior changes,

The Minister of Health emits the following order:

Art. 1. Fundeni Center of General Surgery and Liver Transplantation is accredited for the activity of liver transplantation.

Art. 2. The following medical units are accredited for the activity of heart transplantation:

Art. 3. The following medical units are accredited for kidney and pancreas transplantation:

Art. 4. The following medical units are accredited for kidney transplantation:

Art. 5. The following medical units are accredited for lung transplantation:

Art. 6. The following medical units are accredited for bone marrow transplantation:

Art. 7. The following medical units are accredited for declaring cadaveric donors:

Art. 8. (1) The Heads of the Departments mentioned in art. 7 will name the doctors responsible for identifying potential donors. These doctors will be informed every day about the patients admitted who present a Glasgow score equal or lower than 7.
(2) The evidences presented in paragraph (1) will be presented to the Natioanl Transplant Agency on a trimestrial basis.

Art. 9. The medical units accredited for immunological and virological testing are:

Art. 10. Bucharest Ambulance Service is accredited for the activity of transplant coordination.

Art. 11. Bucharest Emergency Clinical Hospital - Plastic Surgery-Reconstructive Microsurgery Clinic.

Art. 12. The departaments of the Ministry of Health and the institutions involved will take the measures necessary for implementing the present order.

Art. 13. Order no. 697/1999 of the Minister of Health regarding the accreditation of medical centers for performing tissue and organ transplantation is abrogated.

Art. 14. The present order will be published in the Official Monitor of Romania, Part I.

regarding the accreditation of medical units that may perform activities of human tissue banks, and for using human tissues and/or cells with therapeutical goal

Taking into account the stipulations of Government Ordinance no. 79/2004 for the founding of the National Transplant Agency approved with changes by Law no. 588/2004 with the ulterior changes and of title VI of Law no. 95/2006 regarding the reformation of the Health System,

Taking into account the positive report of the National Transplant Agency no. E.N. 903/2006,

In accordance with the stipulations of Government Ordinance no. 168/2005 regarding the organization and functioning of the Ministry of Health, with the ulterior changes,

The Minister of Health emits the following order:

Art. 1. The following medical units are accredited for the activity of human tissue banks:

5. Reproductive cells:

6. Pancreatic cells:

Art. 2. The following units are accredited for using human tissues and/or cells with therapeutical goal:

1. Skin

4. Cornea:

5. Reproductive cells:

Art. 3. "Prof. dr. C. T. Nicolau" National Institute of Blood Transfusion - National HLA Laboratory Bucharest is accredited for immunological and virological testing.

Art. 4. The departaments of the Ministry of Health and the institutions involved will take the measures necessary for implementing the present order.

Art. 5. The validity of the accreditation for the above-mentioned is of one year after the publication of the present order in the Official Monitor of Romania, Part I, with the exception of "Prof. dr. C. T. Nicolau" National Institute of Blood Transfusion Bucharest, which is accredited over an unlimited period.

Art. 6. The present order will e published in the Official Monitor of Romania, Part I.
